Description

In this course, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of this leading cloud-based accounting platform. Ideal for small business managers, owners, bookkeepers, and accounting professionals, this course covers the basics of using QuickBooks Online.

Through four hands-on units, you’ll learn to enter sales and purchases, receive and make payments, and add and manage inventory. By the end of this course, you’ll have the foundational skills needed to confidently use QuickBooks Online for essential business accounting tasks.

Course Outcomes

  1. Navigate the QuickBooks Online interface and customize key settings such as the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Create and manage General Journal Entries, including adjusting entries, memorized transactions, and generating journal reports.
  3. Set up and manage inventory and service items, and run related inventory reports.
  4. Create and modify supplier records, and accurately enter and manage bills, checks, and supplier transactions.
  5. Generate supplier reports, process payments, manage purchase orders, and handle supplier credits.
  6. Create and maintain customer records, including processing sales receipts, estimates, invoices, and customer payments.
  7. View, adjust, and delete sales records, and run standard customer-related reports for tracking and analysis.
  8. Complete practical projects to apply core QuickBooks functions in real-world scenarios.
