Description

This course takes your skills to the next level with advanced features of this cloud-based accounting platform. Participants will learn how to customize settings and workflows, manage banking and credit cards, work with foreign currencies, create statements for debt collection and use tags and project tracking.

This course equips participants with advanced tools to optimize QuickBooks Online for professional and business needs.

Course Outcomes

  1. Set up and customize company settings in QuickBooks Online, including entering opening balances for customers, vendors, and inventory.
  2. Perform bank reconciliations and manage business credit card transactions accurately.
  3. Create and manage budgets, apply tags for tracking, and adjust inventory bundles for improved reporting and organization.
  4. Work with multiple currencies, including setting up foreign currency accounts, vendors, and customers, and processing purchases and sales in international currencies.
  5. Generate and manage customer statements, handle non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks, and process bad debts within the system.
  6. Use the Projects feature to track costs and profitability by job or initiative.
  7. Apply learned skills through midterm and final projects, simulating real-world accounting tasks for a business environment.
