Description

Change is constant in both personal and professional environments, yet sustaining meaningful change can be challenging. This course introduces the neuroscience behind how change occurs in the brain and how individuals can intentionally reshape their thinking, behaviors, and emotional responses to achieve new outcomes.

Participants will explore how habits are formed, why change can be difficult, and how neuroplasticity supports the development of new patterns. Through practical tools, guided reflection, and real-world application, participants will begin to shift from reactive, stress-driven responses to more intentional and adaptive approaches to leadership and decision-making. Participants will also have the opportunity to apply their learning through an optional oral presentation demonstrating key course concepts.

Key Topics:
  • The science of neuroplasticity and how the brain forms habits and patterns
  • The connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in shaping outcomes
  • Understanding “survival mode” vs. “creation mode” in leadership and decision-making
  • Strategies for interrupting old patterns and building new, sustainable behaviors
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Understand how the brain supports and resists personal and professional change
  • Apply neuroscience-based strategies to shift thinking, behavior, and emotional responses
  • Identify and begin implementing changes that support leadership effectiveness and resilience
Who Should Enroll:
This course is ideal for emerging and experienced leaders, managers, and professionals seeking to:
  • Navigate change more effectively in dynamic environments
  • Build resilience and adaptability in their leadership approach
  • Strengthen decision-making through a deeper understanding of behavior and mindset

Whether you are working toward a specific personal or professional change, this course provides practical tools grounded in neuroscience to support lasting transformation.
