Description
Advanced SQL takes your query skills to the next level by introducing techniques for complex data manipulation and decision-making. You’ll learn to write subqueries, join queries, and UNION queries that pull data from multiple tables, as well as explore transaction processing to ensure accuracy and stored procedures to streamline query execution.
Course Outcomes
- Construct advanced subqueries using keywords such as IN, EXISTS, ANY, and ALL to efficiently link and filter data across queries.
- Perform complex joins, including nested joins and joins that incorporate aggregate functions, to retrieve and analyze data from multiple related tables.
- Create and manage union queries, including UNION and UNION ALL, to combine result sets from multiple queries while applying filtering conditions.
- Implement transaction processing to ensure data integrity through commit and rollback operations.
- Develop and use stored procedures to streamline repeated tasks and enforce business logic within the database.
- Create and apply database triggers to automate responses to data changes and enforce rules at the database level.
- Professionals with intermediate SQL experience.
- Students who have completed Intermediate SQL.
